<p dir="ltr">A strong heroine is a charm of a book. A great and unique female character is very essential for a story to success. Who would forget the likes of Hermoine Granger and Katniss Everdeen? Below are the tips on how to make stunning, and relatable heroine base in my opinion.</p>
<p dir="ltr"><b>Define what is strong female </b><b>character</b>.</p>
<p dir="ltr">A strong female character doesn't need to be an Amazona type of girl. She may not into kicks, jabs or any action. Well, it's up to you if you add some to spice her up. But you should be careful not making her less believable. Don't afraid to make her feminine. Many readers have less respect of female protagonist who is trying hard and hate feminity and would rather act manly instead. Masculity doesn't equal to strong after all. Both man and woman has unique ways to win. So what if she still washes the clothes and dishes or being <u>an</u> engineer?</p>
<p dir="ltr"><b>Give her the strength of character.</b></p>
<p dir="ltr">In literary view, a strong character is not the one who can carry tons and pull a gun. A strong character is complex, relatable and believable as if she is really existed in this real world. She has visible strengths, weakness, flaws, like, dislikes and aspirations in life. She should be three dimensional.</p>
<p dir="ltr"><b>Make her decisive and independent</b>.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Don't make her actions base on what was told by men and women in her life. Let her decide on her own. May we are presured by people in our life, don't afraid let her disagree if that is really her stance. She should not be submissive. Make her independent, show some hint she can do things in her own and may she needs help in other aspect.</p>
<p dir="ltr"><b>Don't let her motivate only by a man.</b></p>
<p dir="ltr">Women love men. That's a fact. Your heroine is in love, but it doesn't mean, it's her only purpose of the story and her life. Fact of life, no one focuses only on one thing in this world.<br></p>
<p dir="ltr"><b>Don't make her cruel.</b></p>
<p dir="ltr">There are some authors got mistake in portraying strong female character. They ended having them bitchy, rude, bully and unlikeable. That's a misconception of feminism.<br></p>
<p dir="ltr"><b>Make her stand-up if she needs.</b><br></p>
<p dir="ltr">This. This one is the main reason why I can call a female protagonist weak in a novel. When she failed to defend herself. Story may focused in abuse but it's not right when she's tolerating it, being blind and giving it a faulty justification. Having a character who has no respect in herself will be also unrespectable. It's doesn't mean she will go straight into a crazy cave woman though. </p>
<p dir="ltr"><b>Let her suffer the consequences.</b></p>
<p dir="ltr">If your character makes wrong decisions, punish them. Give them the deserved outcome. Nothing's more annoying than a Mary Sue. A female character who is liked by everyone, she has zero hater, everything is about her and her faults are tolerated and falsely justified.</p>
<p dir="ltr">So how's your heroine?</p>

<p dir="ltr">You dream to be a writer? Writing is not easy. Every author knows that. It can make us insane. This will happen especially when you use this talent as your career or you're just seeking bigger readership. Gone are the days that writing are fun, playful and adventurous. This time, you will endure the reality, writing is stressful, tiresome and can turn us into semi-zombies. Here's why:</p>
<p dir="ltr"><b>You will battle for the cliches.</b></p>
<p dir="ltr">"I want an original one!" That would readers and editors always gonna say. But the sad truth is nothing is already new. We live on the same Earth and sun. You will sponge your brain to new ideas. Everytime you come up something new, your mind will quickly argue it was already done before. The sad fact when your editor/reader says your story idea is cliche. What a heartache!</p>
<p dir="ltr"><b>You never know when your novel will be perfect.</b></p>
<p dir="ltr">As you embraced professionalism , you make sure your final draft is flawless before submitting it publishers. Chances are, you never know when your novel could be totally polished, even if you edited or revised it for many times, you will still see errors on it. You will still find way to write some prose better. You will spend a lot of sleepless nights doing it. So, you think your manuscript is perfectly done, you have just passed it to a publisher but when you review your manuscript again, you find it's still having tidal waves of grammatical errors, inconsistentsies, unchecked facts. But your manuscript is already on striking perfectionist editors' inbox. You have nothing to do but to cry. "Oh my God! What the fuck I have done?!"</p>
<p dir="ltr"><b>It doesn't mean if your manuscript is good, it will be published and become hit.</b></p>
<p dir="ltr"> Your novel is now very good, spectacular and perfect. You became Nostradamus, you predicted it will become a bestseller, it will subdue Harry Potter, it will make you a billionaire. No! I don't want to destroy your illusion. Publishing is very subjective. What is trash for you, will be a treasure of others and what is treasure to you, will be garbage to them. That's why you can read a wholly total junk book out today. "Why in this world this was published?!" you may ask and hit your head against the wall. The most unoriginal, cliche, boring, faulty story you ever read is published or has just got millions of read. Too poor, it will make us insecure. Nobody knows what will the editors want and what will the readers crave. No one knows what will be the next trend.</p>
<p dir="ltr"><b>Rejection will kill </b><b>you</b><b>.</b></p>
<p dir="ltr">Our book rejected for some reason even the most mundane ones. Some will say, it should not be taken personally, since publishing is subjective. Maybe you just met a lady and called her fat, you don't know she's the evaluator of your precious story, then she rejected your work. See, it just a silly circumstance, the reason why rejection doesn't mean your novel is bad at all. But let's be honest, one rejection is like a lightning that will strike our enthusiasm to write. This is when our creativity lessen, our mental block is getting more serious. The stress ranks over the joy. You have now eating a lot of paper or destroy your computer, crying what's wrong with you.</p>
<p dir="ltr">That is how the writing world works. But as you can see, the pitfuls of writing is the readership stage. As many suggested, try to separate the art from marketing. By this, if you follow your passion amidst in these difficulties, you might be a legendary author someday.</p>

If his name mentioned, Martial Law and dictatorship is the obvious tag of course since the Philippine History class taught us how horrid his era was. But now in existence of social media, I learned the other side on Marcos government that was seemed hidden for so long by bias historians and media. Now, President-elect Rody Duterte wants the late president to bury at the Libingan ng mga Bayani cemetery and it created an big argument. Truth be told, while I acknowledge Marcos' achievements in his ruling, but I could not just set aside the abuse happened of Martial Law. I frankly say, burying him in hero's memorial place doesn't matter after all. Why do I say? Because I think, even if his body lies there, if the historical injustices remain, nothing will happen. I believe the Martial Law history that was taught in every Filipino student was only one sided and a person can't judge if he only collected one side of the issue. So what can be? Of course, historic revision! Oh, wait some hate that word, right? Let me tell, revision does not equate to wrong action. We are now at information age. An absolute hero-villain telling type of history, is a total trash now. Write down the pros and cons about Ferdinand Marcos' leadership, include the pros and cons about on his opposition too, hence, it takes two to tango. Putting down the two sides can help us achieve the best lesson we can learn in history than victor's spoon feeding. If you ask me what I lesson I've learn from Martial Law's understanding, I answer, WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE IN OUR FREEDOM, THAT'S WHY SHITS HAPPEN and even now it can still applies.

<br />
<br />
<br />
ONCE again, Mereah Academy has lost its integrity. The three students, Nabira, Yana and Anra were caught stealing the parchment of the academy headmaster's room before the day of qualifying examinination. It was happened in class faction of Alamid and the Alamidee's couldn't look straight to the fellow Mereans. So far, it was the biggest scandal exploded of school year just like the butt's atomic bomb. Being in the intellectual faction, it was a great disappointment, Alamidee's professor Aveel got smoking nose telling it to her students. Anamuri , the school headmistress, urgently marked Nabira and the rest cheaters with suspension, and the faction will lost the extravagant teaching tools and food supplies in next school break.</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
During the class hour's dismissal, Nabira's gang allied to avenge the girl who was the cause of their conviction, Salome, a thin and with big eyes girl. Someone would assume she couldn't kill a lice in her big curly hair because it was already a sin, but try to mess with her, indeed, she will throw a kiss in check or near eye. Then it will leave with color black. For her, that was an effective smack, there was a crunch. Yesterday, after school hours, when almost nobody was around, Salome saw Nabira, Yana and Anra at the Headmaster's office, the peer just exited on the room and they took some parchment where the questions of the test written. Nabira used a metal stick to key the office door's lock. When Nabira saw Salome was spying them, the bully treated to hang Salome on the pole as flag's replacement. By morning, Professor Aveel was mesmerized of Nabira's perfect scores. A student named Jirhan was also included. He sat at Anra's back and has known a great copycat too. How could it be when they were poor students? Salome told Professor Aveel silently about the cheating. She did it as a comeback of Nabira's bullying, either a right decision or just another cavalry. There it went, Nabira confronted Salome about the shame she gained. The peer found Salome having a good time at the academy's eatery. Salome gave Nabira and her puppets a very sweet smile. Nabira threw the tray to her coa and attempted to pull her hair. The fat bully stopped after the proffesor encharged looked at them, Salome grinned.</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
"You don't want to be punished again, aren't you?" she whispered.</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
"You're not lucky. Prepare for us, we'll ambush you," said Nabira.</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
"Sooner or later?" she said.</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
"Take my word!"</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
"In south or north?"</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
"In east!" Nabira answered sarcastically. "We'll smash your head off."</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
"By hammer, or wrecking ball?"</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
"Shut up! I thought, you got a brain with substance, it's all liquid."</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
"Water or juice?" Salome teased Nabira again by her stupid questions as she wiped her coat with her hands.</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
"Whatever, dumb," Nabira hit her shoulder.</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
Nabira, Yana an Anra walked away. Salome's eyes fell at Jirhan who was eating in the right's second table before her. He gave a dismay glare. He stood. Jirhan looked ill, a skinner than her and had a shaggy, wavy hair. Bruises marked on his skin probably he got it by horse riding. They were neighbors and she knew him well, another conceited thug. This is the school bully could make her replace Sidyaal's throne - the Godess of Underworld in Maharlican's myth.</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
"Stop acting like a hero, Shockwave Queen, you can't deny, you're a witch, a monster that need to burn," Jirhan said.</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
"It's not my fault why you were caught cheating!" she replied.</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
Jirhan left. Salome couldn't help it to feel irritated. A witch, a monster, she was tired and disgusted to hear that words. It was a usual depiction on her because of her father's occupation. She has no friends at all because of it. Salome was been a loner. Aside of having no friend, she was also prone of mean students in school. She may look just an ordinary girl and easy to go with but behind this people stay away from their family because of rumors, that she belonged on the clan of sorcerers, they have practiced it. Her family never escaped from the neighborhood's superficiality. But for her, it was a slander, her father Racun, was an albularyo; healer who practiced traditional medicine techniques such as use of herbals, but she was sure he was not a dark magician. Sorcery and witches was hated in kingdom of Maharlica, the land she lived in. The witchhood phobia had ran in the veins of Maharlicans. The clash of Enchanters and the called, Mortals or non-enchanters decades ago could proved it. In Maharlica's history, the Mortals' suffering in the arms of Enchanters (the people who practiced wizardy) was unforgettable and very horrible. The hatred planted throughout the years. Any suspected remaining witches were found stoned, worse, Maharlicans burnt them to ash and how she hoped her family was not on next hunt's list. According to some past tellers, a group of witches freed the Godess of Underworld and caused the most painful and tragic era in Maharlican history.</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
The school hours ended. Salome made a deep breath. She went at the school's backyard. Jirhan must not be the one to worry. Instead, Nabira's words planted in her's mind like a leech in her brain. "We'll ambush you," said the re-flashing of her thunder voice. Salome stayed longer at the academy until all had left except for the guard. It doesn't mean she never wanted to fight but Nabira was much bigger, plus her two bodyguards. Salomi had been suffered, her good moral character record was tainted because of Nabira. She had pushed Nabira once into the gravel like a big bowling ball when she made fun of her once. Salome was just a fighting victim but misunderstood to be liable. Erobin, the academy's councilor, suspended her for three days. It would never repeat, she swore. If only Nabira was not a crying baby when unfavored, she had been tied that girl in a tree in the middle of forest.</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
Six in the evening, Salome had decided to stood up from the bench after Merea Academy was totally in silent. She went at the Front Hall but the guard was gone anymore. The gate was already closed. Salome returned at the backyard. For the second time, she has stranded in her school and for the same reason, Nabira the Cow. She had no choice left than to climb at the brick wall. Faculties were unaware that she did this twice when she got ill while in class. Their school physician was over-interrogative, noisy, the reason why she hesitated to approach for medication in this academy. She took a platform and pushed the broken glasses on brick's top. Putting glasses on gate's top helped to retrain from attackers. Salome inclined the platform to the wall. It was used as her riser. As she reached on top, Salome jumped and screamed when she was about to dive on the glasses she had fell earlier. Luckily, she only dumped beside them. It would be impossible for Nabira, Yana and Anra to remain in that hours. They lived quite far. Salome started to hike the street. The carriage got lesser. The people in the street got fewer as well. Her wristwatch aimed quarter to seven, in rural areas, that time, the townsfolk was already at home. Her village was called Crilun and was one and half miles southern from Maharlica's capital, Pandagua. She continued to walk. At last, the school break came, she can come home again, didn't matter if she would be late. But while in the road, Salome suddenly halted when shadows came out behind the cloth waving factory.</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
"So what's up now Salome?"</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
Nabira, Yana and Anra popped out. Yana and Anra were related to two of Merea's teachers, while Nabira's father was a major donor of the school. The reason why these three acting as stinky queens.</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
"Oh, you girls take the threat seriously, huh?" she asked while retreating.</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
"Of course, you ruined my reputation, something that I can't forgive. " Yana massaging her fist.</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
"Where you will go?"</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
Anra immediately braced Salome with her wrist. Yana also was now pulling her hair. Nabira punched her stomach. Salome immediately hit Anra by her elbow and impelled again by her foot. She freed on Anra's arms. She bumped Yana until she sped away from the bullies' circle.</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
"Don't let her go!" shouted Nabira.</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
Salome was a fast runner, that was her advantage compared to them. Clearly, the three haven't accustomed in hiking yet. She sprinted until Nabira's group was nowhere behind her. To think that she would be rain with bruises and muscle pain by their cowing. Nabira made fun no other than her. It started when she defeated her at the Chemistry competition two years ago, the time when Nabira was still a competitive student but now, luxurious life and family issues were destroying her study.</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>

She took her walk slower. Nabira, Anra and Yana couldn't surpass her anymore. Now, she will enter in Civarrene Highway. It was the commuters' most avoided road in the nighttime. The villagers have outspoken its danger. It located on the near-end boundaries of Crilun and Pandagua. The road's zigzag curve and its narrowness made the drivers reluctant to pass bye. Hence, there were no side railings put on it. Countless of accidents had been reported in tracing the said intestinal-shape path, in fact, it has no absent every week. It was named a "killer road". But aside from the danger, there was another reason of the people's fear. Many have been testified the paranormal activities in the area.</div>

It came from the top of a tree. He ran with a bloody shirt. Residents in the upper town have seen dancing lights on Civarenne's woodland but the fact, no one had ever lived there and even has no lampost Those were only three of the stories emerged in Crilun folktales.</div>

But all of those myths never cause a hinder on Salome to cross Civarenne on that night. Panting, she took and lit the candle from her backpack. After she had spent her time taking serious at Nabira's threat, now, she embarked alone in the cemented road to their home. Time changed past, she would never wait any carriage or she might stranded until dawn. Therr were only very seldom horse-carrige traveled on hour of seven in a rural area like Crilun. Salome would never let her parents, Racun and Elir be anxious. The Maharlican Royal Martial got a report of missing people last days ago. The authority had no clear lead of the case yet. The strongest theory was a group of kidnappers circulating the town. Something she should fear than the none sense folklores.</div>

Only Salome's white part of her uniform was fair in the gloom. The moon just painted the sky orange. It was silent except for the hawks which making the only noise. Salome was not born an alarmist ever since and for her, the horror stories were mere inventions. Indeed, her father stated, she was a risk taker, a rebellious one and it might bring her to hazard. She never persuaded in any mythical theory. For her, they were just part of delusion or brilliance of thought and had no real basis. A lot of news about fairies and other mythical elements'claimed circulating at Maharlica. The tales passed from generation to generation and it depends if somebody would believed it or not. The candle Salome brought was near to melt. The route she pass would be much darker. She ambled faster. More steps must have to take before she could fully left the place. Suddenly, she stacked in the highway when a shadow of a woman reflected on the distance. She will met somebody. Her skin's furs stood up. From the rays of moonlight, she a woman wearing long black dress was coming.</div>

Her heart's pulse beaten faster. She sweated cold as the stranger got closer and closer to her. If it was, then that would be the best time for her to justify the black lady's supernaturalness - a mischievous female ghost who wore dark dresses and could possessed the living humans. Salome held her breath. The woman came into her front and her heart almost drowned. The lady's face expressed fierce, her furious eyes glared at Salome. They were aesthetic. Her hair measured down to her thigh bone. She had a maroon lips. Her long fingernails was also noticeable. Salome estimated the woman was in the age of forty and found her suspicious one. The woman in black was unfamiliar and seemed like she was a newcomer in Maharlica.</div>

She continued slowly. A reminder prompted on her head, it would be a bad luck if someone would gave third unanswered greetings to a stranger, Racun told her. The victim would not affected eventually but it could cause him being vulnerable in any type of diseases and may lead to an early death. But Salome just let the woman passed bye. She assumed that woman was just a snobbish one. An amount of relief refreshed her intense soul. Before she escaped in Civarenne Highway, she will passed the most wildest place in the road where the extraordinary events usually happened. Her candle was totally melt and she dropped it in the ground. Those folklores were murmuring in her left brain, it seemed she ought to believe them now. She made herself vigilant.</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
Suddenly, she shrieked when a giant thing dropped in the front. A big foot stepped and was blocking her.ONCE again, Mereah Academy has lost its integrity.
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
During the class hour's dismissal, Nabira's gang allied to avenge the girl who was the cause of their conviction, Salome, a thin and with big eyes girl.
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
"You don't want to be punished again, aren't you?" she whispered.</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">

<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
"You're not lucky. Prepare for us, we'll ambush you," said Nabira.</div>

<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
"By hammer, or wrecking ball?"</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">

"Shut up! I thought, you got a brain with substance, it's all liquid."</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">

<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
"Water or juice?" Salome teased Nabira again by her stupid questions as she wiped her coat with her hands.</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">

<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
"Whatever, dumb," Nabira hit her shoulder.</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
Nabira, Yana an Anra walked away.
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
"Stop acting like a hero, Shockwave Queen, you can't deny, you're a witch, a monster that need to burn," Jirhan said.</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
"It's not my fault why you were caught cheating!" she replied.</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
Jirhan left.
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
The school hours ended.
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
Six in the evening, Salome had decided to stood up from the bench after Merea Academy was totally in silent.
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
"So what's up now Salome?"</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
Nabira, Yana and Anra popped out. Yana and Anra were related to two of Merea's teachers, while Nabira's father was a major donor of the school. The reason why these three acting as stinky queens.</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">

<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
"Where you will go?"</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">

<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">
"Don't let her go!" shouted Nabira.</div>
<div dir="ltr" trbidi="on">

During my earlier age, I used to watch Filipino soap operas. My mind was not picky before. I can sit for almost four hours viewing it. But now, after my mind got more knowledge and exposure, I can say that I had been eating spoiled. I studied Literature, it helped me to spot their cons. Presently, I prefer to watch the old Tom and Jerry show than these Pinoy teleseryes. I only watch any of them if I feel a new air but most can make me run faster than a leopard. I even used to plung off the TV while my mom was watching due to my despisement even if she could beat me a lumber right after, luckily she became calm as I apologized. But why I feel this? Well, I stopped watching because of the three factors ; the message, the story and the production.<br />
<br />
.MESSAGE<br />
<br />
These teleseryes are still poisoning the MASA'S mind by the horrible message they tell to the people.<br />
<br />
Submission<br />
<br />
, Obssession And Martyr . I really hate this teleserye stated that love is fucking being foolish to someone. Really, magpapatayan ang dalawang tao para sa isang love interest nila? Magsasabunutan na parang mga batang nag-aagawan ng lollipop? How stupid it is? Okay naman ang estoryang love triangle pero huwag naman humahantong sa ganito. Kung magpatayan man, dapat mas may malalim pang rason!<br />
<br />
INJUSTICE
.<br />
<br />
Pangalawa, pag-usapan natin tong adultery, itong thema na ito ay para kong gustong lumipad at sabugan ng dinamita ang electric power plant, pag nangaliwa ba't ipilit na ibalik ang mag-asawa? How can you say that cheating is wrong and marriage is sacred if magpakamartyr sa isang stupidong manlolokong partner is insisted and not imposing the consequences? Why not let the two separate for God's sake.<br />
<br />
.Mayaman vs. Mahirap.<br />
<br />
Nakakainis talaga ang isang teleserye na ang conflict ay nag-eevolve pa rin ng social status. Until when socio-discrimination end? Poor or rich ang batayan kung matino kang tao?! Basta mayaman evil? Poor, angelic? Damn stereotype.<br />
<br />
PLOTLINE<br />
.<br />
.Imbalance argument between the protagonist and antagonist within the story curse.
Yun bang puro sa kontrabida ang nakapabor at ang bida ay nangungulelat sa di alam na dahilan? May kasabihan na ang nagbibigay buhay ng storya ay ang kontrabida. Mali. The story is about the protagonist's journey of reaching his motive, making descisions and how he solved the obstacles in his life. The concept of Philippine teleserye is how the characters got into trouble than how to get out of the trouble. Impediments, kasali na ang kontrabida. Stories are balance. Bale ang bida at kontrabida ay magtatalo sa kwento. Eh ang sa atin, halos namatay ang bida at nagwagi sa katapusan sa di maintindihang paraan, unrealistic. They portray weak protagonist. The villain is wicked but I really dislike when the hero/heroime is penile during the confrontation.<br />
<br />
.Plotless.<br />
<br />
Walang plot talaga.
<br />
Iyakan.<br />
<br />
Sa isang story, di naman maiiwasan na may umiyak pero yung palagi na lang? Yung magkamatay ng iyak. It's so sad na pag magaling kang umiyak ay pwede ka ng maging artista sa ating Showbiz Industry. Remember, drama is not about showing ocean deep of tears.<br />
<br />
THE PRODUCTION
.<br />
<br />
Stories and theme keep repeating.<br />
<br />
Maraming elemento sa paghulma ng kwento para maging refreshing, I don't want to use the term "original", kaming mga writer ay aware na walang original na idea. It's just the writer of those teleseryes are unexplorative. It's seems family - romantic drama lang ang tanging alam na gagawin. How about in the field of expertise eg; medicine, engineering, astronomy, politics? Ang daming genre science, horror, fantasy? The problem, the production is focusing only in one set of audience, yung majority who loves family drama and romance, how about the other audience who refer different? Because well tingnan naman, tinatangkilik naman kahit substandard so how can we pressure to spread their wings high?<br />
<br />
It's about the Stars not the Story.<br />
<br />
They collecting stars to hype their market, not the story or the character. I observe, people love to watch them because their favorite stars are there. But in other countries, take a look, fans didn't watch Harry Potter because of Daniel Radcliff but the story itself, Luke Skywalker was became popular first than Mark Hamil, I known San Sai than Barbie Xu. Because they're far away? Not really. They just into the character that emphasized well and the story.<br />
<br />
.Falsy Hype or Bandwagon.<br />
<br />
When, something's hit, the media network hype it's show hardly. Pheonamenal daw, mataas ang rating. What a clear sign na pang -uto lang, sa sino lang ang madala, but mind this, when I took a roam, I spot the houses in our town, it's very far from truth, most prefer to watch Tagalized Hollywood movies in TV5, this is a bad sign of our entertainment industry, we swallow creativity and let our shows incompetent enough.</div>

<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
As I started drafting my fiction and blogging, I was bit curious for a while. What is a good English writing? I searched it online because being a novelist, I like to know what is considered a good English language that would meet the publishing standard. The answer, there are no exact rules but here are some guidelines in literary world wants and this may also apply in other languages.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
.Prefer for the message and communication not the language.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
In order to achieve in literature do we need to write literally? The answer is no. Write like how you talk in your daily life with formality. Specificity is a virtue in writing. It's irritating to read a piece when you can't understand because it's full of impediments. Yes, it's easy to spot a manuscript focusing more with the language than its meat. There's nothing wrong if you will pay attention to your writing structure but if what you want to say is covered up by unnecessary words, then you will sink. Deliver your message straight to the point, that's the key.</div>
<div>
Read this:</div>
<div>
The intentional, brutal, homicidal, unbelievable, ruthless, injustice killing which was happened yesterday by masked five gunmen that was witness by teenagers, employer and a security personal, founding the man lying on the floor..."</div>
<div>
Sounds scattered right? I'm guilty, I used to write like that before.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
.Avoid using adjectives and adverbs.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
This is the technique to deliver stronger and clearer.</div>
<div>
Instead of</div>
<div>
"I picked the heavy bag."</div>
<div>
Write this,</div>
<div>
"I picked the bag."</div>
<div>
Too much use of adjectives and adverbs may lead your statement too flowery. It's called purple prose and a bad kind of writing, the result of too much focus of the language (as what I said earlier.) Use strong verbs and nouns instead. Use adverbs and adjective when it's the only way to convey the sentence.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
.Avoid repetition.</div>
<div>
Having a word written over and over again would distract the quality of your prose. Thus, the rule is avoid using the same words in a paragraph. Not the common, "the, is, a", repeating them is not a disruption. I mean those special words to construct your sentence.</div>
<div>
.Use simple words than fancy ones.</div>
<div>
As a writer, we have a duty to expand our vocabulary. Since as we mentioned about repetition hazard above, we must look for something in Dictionary and Thesaurus to put in. That's not bad, but if your reader needs to scan his dictionary again in every seconds because he doesn't understand your work anymore, the chance is he may your work to the trash can. Remember, in a hustle reader, there's a compromised writer.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
.Be a literary wizard than a grammar nazi.</div>
<div>
Being a terrific grammar nazi doesn't mean your writing would be good and having an error doesn't mean it would be bad. As I always said, the content is more valuable. As a writer, it's a requirement to have proper grammar knowledge but hey, we're just humans to commit mistakes. That's why there are erasers, white inks and Backspace keys. That's why there's editing/editor. That's why our manuscript would have a first draft until to millionth draft to spot and fix them.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
.Details is a virtue.</div>
<div>
One what makes a manuscript standout is the description. Add concrete details than abstract.</div>
<div>
For example:</div>
<div>
A tall man</div>
<div>
,,,better if,,,</div>
<div>
A seven feet high man.</div>
<div>
or rather change the word "man", it can be his name or occupation perhaps to be more specific.</div>
<div>
"A seven feet high basketball player."</div>
<div>
Don't write "bag", it could be "Chanel bag".</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Those are just guidelines, not laws to be followed. They created to polish your writing skills up. But after all the writer's literary charm would be a factor to excel, his own way of execution. But it's not only matters, the story, the humor, the theme are big contributions too. As you see, there are your favorite writers uses too flowery prose. And you can see there's also a rule above I violated too, making me sound funny hypocrite.<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaBvDkVOEHPsx-md0IkoqT6I2O7ItXXmpjYuEn0wDZcYnGiwvo7agJ7iUIYrQ08D-xk98LE7dW8-ptHX6hMFNe_NcB3YcYUABjBCNHZbUVUMednCCCPJ2W6_-6E3E1YLiKKp1Xy1S70EQ/s1600/yu.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="225" data-original-width="225" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaBvDkVOEHPsx-md0IkoqT6I2O7ItXXmpjYuEn0wDZcYnGiwvo7agJ7iUIYrQ08D-xk98LE7dW8-ptHX6hMFNe_NcB3YcYUABjBCNHZbUVUMednCCCPJ2W6_-6E3E1YLiKKp1Xy1S70EQ/s1600/yu.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Each of one of us has different taste in music. For me, I prefer mostly the alternative or rock songs but I do listen to other genres as well. I do believe each music genres has unique style to entertain the audience's audio sense. But, I noticed we have a sudden change of modern music today and I could only count the millennium artists I streamed because of the song not the catchy music video instead. I'm 80's 90's early 2000 music fan and the following are my reasons:<br />
<br />
. They are the songs I've heard since from my very early age.<br />
<br />
Songs that created a memory from your childhood are mostly the songs that would attached to you even you'll grow up. Agree? Until now, I fell so very harmonious when I hear the songs which I listened during my ABC times. I won't forget the boybands like Westlife, Backstreet Boys, A1, Micheal Learns, early Britney hits, Bon Jovi, Whitney and many more.<br />
<br />
.Because earlier singers has better voices.<br />
<br />
I can really feel the spectacularity and quality of singer's voices on the 80's-2000's. They are whole with good timbres. You can't question that they didn't rehearse or took an intense voice lesson. Now, there are artists assumed already themselves singers just because they can sing. I believe, singing is a man's ability but only the few can be the professional. On these days, there are artists that still need to have more workshops first because their voice are haven't that polished yet. In my dialect, "may pagkayabag pa o sintunado."<br />
<br />
.The songs composed were well crafted.<br />
<br />
As I listened, early music flow smoothly with the exact timing and clear instrument with no extra audio effects. Plus the instrumental accompaniment also meticulously carved well, my examples was Sweet Child of mine, Livin in a Prayer and I don't wanna Miss a Thing. Unlike now, as long as you can composed with scattered tempo, melody and rhythm you can go as long as it will sell. In my opinion, melody and harmony flows endlessly like water, if good masterpieces created before, there's no reason it can't be done today, time and passion just needed.<br />
<br />
.There was no massive autotune.<br />
<br />
I'm aware that recording may go through in audio editing programmers . I mean, at modern music scheme, it's already abused. As I stated because early singers enhanced their vocals very well and technology was not that advance before. Now, often times, I hear like the one who sang were cyborgs. P.S. I really disliked it when the vocals of a song is closed to a robot. The one I couldn't cope up what did the lyrics say.<br />
<br />
.Because '80's to early '2000' musics were played by the real artists and musical instruments.<br />
<br />
In connection to autotuning and its abuse on these days, it's sad that whenever a new artist came out, you can ask, "Can he really sing? Why, because I do believe one of disadvantages of technology advancement is,it can cheat a man's ability. Not all singers now can actually sing live as long as they are marketable. I do like electro music but it became trashy sometimes due to extreme mixing especially if the DJ is not that good. My point is, the use of real instruments is way very much better.<br />
<br />
These may be also the reasons why yesterday's song are eternal, you can still hear them at radios, plays, karaoke, revivals (which is bad.) But the bottomline is, after all, it's our preferences.</div>

<br />
After work, I sit on my throne (my sofa) and turned on the TV, I noticed, there is only one Pinoy soap operas was all about. When I looked for Tagalog novels at a bookstore to read, I see nothing but only one genre that rules among all. Romance. As an aspiring writer, it's undeniable that the genre is the powerhouse of all. In fact, no matter how many people said it's cliche, still a lot of us watch or read lovestories. Of course, love is the greatest thing in this world, it's the source of joy, unity and peace aside of the "kilig" it gives to the audience. As the line in the song said, "you never live until you love." But, it's not the thing I wanna explain here but its overall dominance in Philippine cinematography and literature, as if we have forgotten the other genres. I observe, it's the only mainstream here. Prove to that, romance novels get more reads than anything else of Filipino readership in Wattpad. If you talk about foreign films and fiction, they like romance as well but you can see many also consider fantasy, action, science fiction, horror, etc. It's not that I dislike romance, actually, it's one of my favorite, but like how menudo is my favorite dish, I will also lose my appetite if that's the only meal I eat everytime.<br />
<br />
So how does romantica is the overall dominant in Philippine art? Upon asking this to myself, I came up some answers. I do believe, it's because of our conservative culture. We were preached sex is evil especially outside in marriage. Lust is a deadly sin, no one will question. In fact, married couples still get back-stabs rumors if they will display public affection. From that thinking, we see malice and intrigue in romantic relationship, we hint it could lead sexual affairs. We see it's bone chilling and evoking because of that perception. But, malice and intrigue makes the romance more interesting aside from the emotional satisfaction it could give. I think it's always the best to be an open-minded and to explore in different areas of life. Spread the good vibes, shower the love.<br />

The Revolutionist</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
I want to see, but you put and jailed me at the dark.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
You made me blind by covering my eyes with black.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Never contented, you stood behind and stabbed me at my back.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
You're in the pedestal because of your greediness.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm on the mud because of my foolishness.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

And now, I'm awake, still you pull me at nothingness.</div>

I have the strength to cut you by my sword.</div>

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have a wisdom to destroy you by my word.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
In order to see a new beginning in this world.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And now we're here, run brothers! Run!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Run, after the bullets of the gun.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Run until we will see the rising sun.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
But suddenly, I heard the sound of bang!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
A bullet fly and hit through my lung.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So before I lost myself, I heard my brothers sang.</div>

Once, I had a daydream. I always thought how my life suppose to be. They were mostly impossible to reach because of opportunity or time that had been flashed by the waves. Imagining them may let me help escape my flaws in life, but somehow, it led me more disappointed. The more I'm being a denial on my current situation, The more I became a loser. Then, I realized, it didn't help, it just continue dragging me down. Looking in the mirror, I challenged myself. I accepted for who I am. I used my weaknesses as reminders and strength as enhancers. After that, I feel the self-fulfillment when facing the reality and it improves my life. After all, when you make up yourself higher, you can have a life that's better than fantasy.</div>

<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"> On last January 25, 2015, the whole country was bombarded by news of Philippine Police SAF and Moro Islamic Liberation Front's encounter which killed our forty-four south trooper. However, instead of sanctioning the liable armed groups, the scenario goes left. On April 7 2015, the court hearing of Bangsamoro Basic Law opened again, thus, rather than consoling the sympathizing constituents like me, it fired up my heart with anger, doubt to our leaders, I even laughed though because I think imposing it would be the sign of our foolishness. So if this Bangsamoro Basic Law, what this implies to us? Simple here it goes.</span><br>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">1. The State's vulnerability.</span><br>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"> No doubt to this, I believe, as a country, we build a wall against to the intruders, and if this wall is built substandard, we were wrecking just a flip.</span><br>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"> 2. That the Authority Is a Nanny.</span><br>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"> The authority failed to ease these criminals by law enforcement the result they are making them brats thinking it would be the best. Hence, they must remind that the primary duty of a leader is to give security to their state.</span><br>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"> 3.The International Community Remain to tag us the sick man of Asia.</span><br>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"> Because how could anyone willing to negotiate even if they who are in pretense; the use of aliases and hook us for peace instinctive Why we are willing to let those militant groups rule when they haven't a leadership's will rather than commanding and training their groups in warfare. What are their platforms in governing their sub-state? What are their economic advocacy What is their vision of Bangsamoro towards global competitiveness? I heard and read nothing so far; all those must need to prioritize than to whine and fired their guns for freedom with vague direction.</span><br>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"> And through these, we need to think crucial on this deciding the Bangsamoro Basic Law. We need to judge what is the right and best of all</span><br>

<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"> Feeling of anger is one of the best emotions that a man has. How we wish not to feel it, in fact, we were trying to escape not to feel this kind of emotion, but being angry is undeniable. It is natural and reasonable. But we should know how to control it to avoid necessary conflicts, pain of heart and even war. When we are angry, the other virtue of man called patience must take place then. Base on my experiences, I gathered some tips on my mind how to control anger and I want to share it in this cyber world. .<br><br><br>Thinks positively<br> <br> -Being a positive thinker helps develop the mind's good disposition of a man. It also helps to boast our patience and humbleness. Being a negative thinker can't cope and understand the things that triggered us. Our mind's bad disposition will bring us down and make us impatient and harass.<br> <br>.Avoid the things that make you upset<br> <br>-It said earlier that anger is undeniable. Yes, but if you know that situation, people and other things you’re going through made you turned Hulk before, will you still continue or stick on it? The answer is no, don’t be a victim once again, get rid of it.<br> <br>Don’t decides speak when you're angry<br> <br> -Sometimes we can do some actions that we're not expected to do, we were just carried away of our emotion, and regretting is all we can do when were back in calm. Try being alone when you're mad, take a deep breathe every now and then to comfort yourself until you'll be okay. Just try to open up or talk to others about your problem when you're already in a good mood and not in bad.<br> <br> .Let it go<br> <br>-Carrying the anger in your heart for a long time is called hatred. It is not good. Once you're angry,don't take it seriously, make it gone. Don't carry the pain in your heart. Remember that time heals the wounds. .<br> <br>Pray in God<br> <br>-Being a believer and follower of God,don't forget His name or Jesus though you're in anger. Speaking God on your mind will help you back to calmness. Ask for strength and protection to encounter the pain. Do'nt forget, God is the number one healer and comforter,and I believe, everyone deserves to be happy</span></div>

bird that believed to be an extinct on this time namely the Cebu Black Shama or
called by the locals as "siloy". The birds can be found in Mag-abo Forest
in Nug-as, Alcoy, one of the remaining virgin forests in the province. They
sing a melody that will surely make your stress gone. In order to endorse, the
officials of municipality created a festival for a cause to conserve the
bird's decreasing population. The festival was held every year during the town
